Occupy Wall Street Rally Comes to San Francisco

On September 29, 2011 CWA Local 9410 and District 9 members informed the public of Verigreedy at their downtown store on Market Street. "Top Verizon executives took home $258 million over the last 4 years" and now they want to destroy good paying middle class jobs so they could get richer off our members? "It's time customers and workers at Verizon Wireless join together and say, Enough." STOP VERIGREEDY by not shop at VERIZON!
We later joined the march to support Occupy Wall Street here in San Francisco. There where over 500 people asking Wall Street to pay their fair share of taxes after America bailed them out; stop corporate greed; stop bank foreclosure on poor working class and negotiate fair contracts. The march finally ended at Chase Bank on Market and Second Streets where 6 protesters were arrested and later released. There is movement that is being felt across America the 1% (billionaires) are not paying their fair shares of taxes.

Respectfully submitted,

Larry Yee
Secretary/Treasurer
